VIDEO DRILLS
Marcoux 7 + 2 Zones

Just a small adjustment to David Marcoux’s 7 Zones Drill.
Etch-A-Sketch Transition Recovery

A challenging drill that works on recoveries from the butterfly straight
into an up movement (swoops and shuffles).
Long Swoops

This drill works on using swoops for long passes.
Centre Shift with Shots

The goalie must react to a quick toe drag or push. The goalie should
make the slight adjustment while up before reacting to the shot.
Semi-Circle Shuffle Drill

Pretty basic drill for working on shuffling. We make sure each
goalie looks to the next puck, sets on angle with each puck and
maintains control throughout. A staple for goalies of all ages.
3 Depth Drill (5 Pucks)

This drill focuses on sculling, angle and crease awareness, control
and conditioning. This one is a killer.
3 Puck Scull With Warm Up

This is a warmup drill that works on the development of a basic skill,
the scull. Goalies should be able to get to the top of the crease with
one powerful push.
Centre Shift with Shots

This drill simulates how a goalie should react to a quick toe drag or
push in order to stay on angle.
